Location

Our public education team organises special events in schools where we teach and talk to thousands of young people about the affects of knife crime and what our organisation provides. Annually, we analyse the statistics to identify we our help is needed most.

Here are just some of the groups we speak to every year:

This year so far,20,113 people have been cautioned, reprimanded or convicted for carrying a knife in England and Wales, most of whom were adults. But one in five, 4,291, was under the age of 18, the highest number for eight years.

Separate figures from the mayors office show that young teenage boys and men were disproportionally affected as both victims and perpertrators.
